Why is Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix so fantastic?
Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix retains more water than other mixes, and slowly releases moisture to the orchid's roots.
Because all the ingredients are inert, the mixture does not deteriorate and so does not rot the root system.
Unlike commonly used media like bark, coconut husk and sphagnum moss, Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix can be reused when
you need to repot after the orchid outgrows its container.
The problem of when and how much to water your orchid or pot plant can be forgotten. You cannot over-water your orchid using
Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix.
Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix helps to keep pests to a minimum. The inclusion of Diatomite
in the medium means that slugs, snails and
other pests cannot survive in the pot as the multi-faceted nature of the stone fatally damages the insects.
Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix is non-toxic and is environmentally friendly. It is sterile and pH neutral.

Can Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix be used for other plants?
Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix was originally formulated for use on orchids. However, recent tests have shown that many
other plants respond in an extraordinary way to being potted in Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix.
- Tomato seedlings planted in Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix grew more than twice as fast and vigorously than normal
potting soil.
- Rose growers have experienced fabulous success using a specially formulated Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix made
with large Diatomite - blooms are larger and more floriferous, and plants are healthier.
- Plants that are being grown semi-hydroponically, can be switched to Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix. They will
require less tending and will reach maturity ahead of plants in other mixes.
- Fruit trees and vegetables can be grown in Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix to increase the yield and fruit earlier than other soils.
Use Aussie GoldŽ Orchid Mix for potting African Violets,
miniature roses, bonsai, plumeria, house plants, tomatoes, herbs and many other flowering plants.
